DoGcember Week 4: The Finale

The DoG Street Journal is grateful to have received so many submissions for our final week of DoGcember! For everyone who submitted festive dog pictures, we will be announcing our DoGcember 2020 cover dog next week on our Instagram (@dogstreetjournalwm). Thank you to everyone who has shared their dogs with us over the last few weeks--it has been such a joyous way to close out this crazy year.

Without further ado, here are this week's dogs:

Foxy

This is Foxy. She ruined Christmas one year by eating the cookies and making her brother cry. (Submitted by Lily Grant)

Mr. Parker

Mr. Parker is enjoying his holiday season at home with his family. He had a little help decorating his tree, and now all that's left is to wait for presents to appear under it! (Submitted by Sophia Kruk)

Penny

This is Penny Holmes who enjoys long walks on campus, chasing squirrels, and getting belly rubs from W&M students! (Submitted by Marcus Holmes, Government professor)

Benji

Benji is a 7-month-old American Eskimo puppy. He is super playful, energetic, cheerful, and food-motivated. Follow him on Instagram (@benji.the.eskie)! (Submitted by Alice @epsilond14)

Tilley

Tilley is 10-week-old golden doodle! (Submitted by Katie Gibson)

Duke

Duke is a Welsh Springer Spaniel who just turned one this month. Because he was born in the Christmas season, his middle name is "Rudolph." His favorite things are hanging out with his friends in the dog park, playing fetch, cuddling with Mommy and Daddy (a law student at William & Mary), visiting Grammy, receiving tummy rubs, stealing clothes and paper, and chasing squirrels. Duke loves everyone, human and canine, and while he can be mischievous at times, he's a sweet boy who loves to give kisses. (Submitted by David Kriebel)

Cagney & Roosevelt

Rocky

Rocky has fun playing catch in the snow! He is a 2-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves hanging out with his family, giving kisses, and making new friends! (Submitted by Kaitlyn Wilson)

Kumo

Christmas can't come soon enough for Kumo! He keeps sneaking into where we're keeping his presents and trying to take a peek. (It's a big, tasty dog bone, but don't let him know.) (Submitted by Karino @demo_doushite)

Buddy

All dog lovers believe their dog is the best, but I am truly convinced this dog is the best because he embodies the purest form of love. Buddy loves going on long walks to the park and snuggling up next to his humans. He always waits politely for permission to join the humans on the couch, chair, or the occasional nap in the human bed. Buddy is a sensitive and dashing young man, and he even dresses up everyday in his little tuxedo. (Submitted by Cydney Helms)
